Installed on a client’s expansive deck in Virginia, this 15-foot-wide, 12-foot-extension awning in a sleek white cassette with durable Sunbrella® Beige (4620) fabric transformed the outdoor space into a comfortable and functional retreat. Powered directly and equipped with a left-mounted Somfy® motor, this awning provided not only shade but also an elevated ambiance with integrated dimmable lighting.

Challenges
The client sought a premium shading solution for their large deck, evaluating options from multiple companies before selecting Sol-Lux for its superior quality and design.

The Somfy® motion sensor initially proved to be overly sensitive, but Sol-Lux promptly addressed the issue by sending a replacement shaker, ensuring a smooth resolution.
Solution

Planning & Design

Installation
